This proposal is a direct summary of everything we walked through in our meeting. You shared a clear vision for what the website needs to become, and I built this scope around exactly that conversation. Nothing extra, nothing missed.
Your site already has strong content and real credibility built into it. What it needs now is the right structure so a first-time visitor immediately understands who you are, who you serve, and what to do next, without having to click around five different pages to piece it together. That is what this project delivers.
As we discussed, the homepage currently sends visitors in too many directions at once. Your best content is spread across the Services, Financial Planning, Pricing, FAQ, and Christian Financial Advisor pages, and someone landing on the homepage for the first time has no clear path to booking a consultation. The new homepage fixes that entirely.
I am rebuilding it as one long, smooth-scrolling page that takes a visitor from "I just found this site" to "I want to speak with this advisor" without a single dead end. Every section earns the scroll downward until they reach your Calendly.
What I am building into the new homepage
What I am removing
As we talked through, the current menu has too many options with two levels of dropdowns, which pulls attention away from the one thing you want visitors to do. I am replacing the full navigation with a flat, distraction-free structure:
Schedule links directly to your Calendly. No extra page, no extra click. Once you share the link, I will wire it in immediately. All dropdown submenus are removed. Everything they linked to either moves to the homepage or gets hidden.
The core of the About page is genuinely strong. What is weighing it down is the guest speaker content, the event booking form, and the discussion topics section, none of which belong on a wealth management About page. As we agreed, I am removing those and organizing what remains into a clean, trust-building flow.
Keeping and reorganizing
Removing
The Prayer Request form stays. I will restyle it to be smaller and cleaner so it reads as a thoughtful personal touch rather than a heavy page element.
Right now there is a Podcast link in the footer that leads nowhere functional. I will build a fully branded Podcast page with an episode player and a layout designed to grow as you publish more episodes, no developer needed to add future ones.
Newsletter forms are currently sitting at the top of several pages and interrupting the main flow before a visitor has had any reason to sign up. I am moving them to a smaller, quieter section near the bottom of each page so they can still do their job without competing with your primary call to action.
Pages being removed from the navigation (Financial Planning, standalone Pricing, Speaker Profile, Free Christian Resources, FAQs as a standalone page) will be hidden, not deleted. Everything stays in the WordPress backend, nothing is lost.
Because the site was migrated from Wix, there are things that need to be verified properly before anything goes live. I go through the entire site systematically so nothing gets missed:
Any issue found during the audit that falls within the scope above gets fixed as part of this project, no separate charge.
